SBTDC’s IBD team joined more than 150 international trade educators and trade specialists for the in-person NASBITE Annual Conference held March 28-30 in Annapolis, Maryland.
NASBITE conferences are known for their “takeaway” value and networking opportunities, and the 2023 event was no exception. Our team members shared and learned from sessions covering a broad range of global business challenges and had the opportunity to network with peers from across the USA.
Highlights from the conference included keynote address from Gabe Esparza, Associate Administrator for the Office of International Trade, U.S. Small Business Administration, and a surprise address from Tee Rowe, President and CEO, America’s SBDC.
Note: NASBITE is the leading authority and industry standard for global business education, trade credentialing, training, and practice. NASBITE was originally established in 1988 as the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators in response to a movement throughout the 1980s to place international trade education in a more prominent position in colleges, universities, and various public service institutions.
