With more than 20 years of direct international business consulting experience, Owen George specializes in helping businesses expand their presence in the global marketplace. As their trusted advisor, he helps client-companies:
- Evaluate their global readiness and/or sustain their global success;
- Refine their global marketing objectives, strategies and tactics;
- Harness resources to support their export business plans; and
- Analyze their financial performance and trade finance options.
Owen’s background includes experience in a broad range of industry sectors, including environmental, electronics, home furnishings, consumer goods, education, design, and construction. Owen graduated Valedictorian in Political Science from NC State University. As a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, he attended the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. He is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) and Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP). Owen manages and mentors MBA students engaged in consulting projects for his clients. He is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin.
