Our flagship initiative, the Taking the Leap (TTL) program, is specifically designed for high-potential first-time entrepreneurs. This comprehensive program spans eight hours over several days, involving coursework and assignments that cover essential topics such as:

The program culminates in a pitch event, where participants present their business ideas. Learn more and apply.

Taking the Leap is a Collaborative Event

We are proud to collaborate with partners like Uwharrie Bank, which recently supported our TTL cohort in Stanly County by funding the pitch event, providing cash prizes and providing refreshments. Additionally, we often team up with local Community College Small Business Centers to enhance the value of our programs. For instance, the Greenville SBTDC office is currently planning a Seed & Sow Event with the local SBC, which will include prize money for participants.

This year, we are thrilled to introduce the Military Taking The Leap program, led by Air Force veteran Lindsay Hinger. Tailored for those with military ties, this program leverages their unique strengths and connects them with vital resources for entrepreneurial success.

Beyond TTL, our team is available for short-term 1:1 counseling to help you launch and position your business for success. We also offer valuable resources like our Business Start-Up Guide, which provides essential information for new entrepreneurs.

So, whether you are an established business referring new entrepreneurs, a partner spreading the word, or an aspiring entrepreneur yourself, I invite you to explore our website to learn more. If we aren’t the right fit, we’ll guide you to the resources we believe will best serve you.
