If taking 240 East toward Asheville:

  • Exit 4C Haywood/Montford
  • At the end of the ramp turn left onto Haywood Street

If taking 240 West toward Asheville:

  • Exit 4C Haywood/Montford
  • At the end of the ramp turn left onto Montford Ave
  • Go across the bridge then turn left at the red light onto Haywood Street

We recommend parking at the US Cellular Center Parking Deck or in street parking (if available).

  • Turn left after passing the US Cellular Center and before the library; the entrance to the parking deck will be in front of you
  • Take the elevator to the library level of the parking deck
  • Walk through the library walkway out onto Haywood Street
  • Cross the street and enter the Haywood Park Atrium between “The Chocolate Fetish” and “Charmed.”
  • Take either the stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor
  • From the elevator/stair landing turn right and follow the walkway to Suite 212

  • Take I-40 to exit 27
  • Take Hwy 74 West to exit 85 (Sylva)
  • Left at 3rd light onto Highway 107 South
  • Left on University Drive
  • Bear right at roundabout on Centennial Drive
  • 2nd left to stay on Centennial Drive (after Bardo Performing Arts Center)
  • Left onto Killian Building Lane
  • Forsyth Building will be on your left
  • We recommend parking in the metered spaces in front of the building, or anywhere there’s a spot in the Forsyth pay lot.
  • Come up to the second floor of the Forsyth Building; our office is located in Suite 226J.
From West:
  • From NC-107, turn into the front entrance for WCU on University Drive
  • Bear right at roundabout on Centennial Drive
  • 2nd left to stay on Centennial Drive (after Bardo Performing Arts Center)
  • Left onto Killian Building Lane
  • Forsyth Building will be on your left
  • We recommend parking in the metered spaces in front of the building, or in any available spot in the Forsyth Building pay lot.
  • Come up to the second floor of the Forsyth Building; our office is located in Suite 226J.

  • Follow the driveway to the left up a hill and around to the back of the building
  • Park in a Visitor Space on the back side of the building and enter through the door on this side
  • Follow the hallway inside to the right and the SBTDC office is #230 on the right
