The Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Certification
March is Women’s History Month, and it is time to celebrate women’s contributions to history, society, and culture!
Join us for a virtual event on March 16, 2022, from 10:00 am to noon to learn how the WOSB certification can benefit your firm in the federal contracting arena and get a share of those contracting dollars! We will also discuss eligibility requirements, what to consider before applying, and resources available to small businesses like yours.
FACTS:
The federal government purchases $600 billion in goods and services annually.
Of those purchases $30 billion are earmarked for woman-owned small businesses.
Of employer businesses, 21% have majority female ownership, employing 9.4 million workers and amassing $1.5 trillion in total annual receipts.
