The Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) will host an online information session for small businesses on agency operations and discuss the contractor’s role in complying with the agency’s requirements. The training will cover the following:
- Introduction and DCAA Overview — an overview of the Defense Contract Audit Agency including the responsibilities and duties. The types of DCAA audits that can be performed throughout the various phases of a contract will be discussed. Finally, participants will learn about the DCAA Internet resources and presentations that are available.
- Incurred Cost Submissions — an overview of the requirements for submitting annual incurred cost submissions to the Government. The training will focus on the due date requirements for the annual submission and what constitutes a delinquent submission. Participants will learn about the DCAA Incurred Cost Adequacy review process and the required schedules to be included within the incurred cost submission. The DCAA Incurred Cost Electronically (ICE) model that provides contractors with a standard user-friendly electronic package to assist in preparing timely and adequate incurred cost submissions will be covered as well.
The DCAA audits all U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and provides advisory services to DoD components responsible for acquisition and contract administration.
