Government Contracting and Exporting Workshop – POSTPONED

Notice: Effective 8/8, this event has been postponed.  The workshop will be rescheduled at a later date; time and location are to be determined.  Please stay tuned to the SBTDC event website for more information.

Presented by the Office of Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10), this FREE two-part workshop is designed to help small businesses in western North Carolina learn more about potential new markets and resources available to access them.

Companies interested in selling to Federal, state and local government agencies must learn how the government conducts business. Join us and learn how to register your business, identify sales opportunities, understand the bid process, and leverage applicable business development (set-aside) programs. Presented by Noah Robins, NC Procurement Technical Assistance Center/SBTDC.

In this economy you cannot leave any stone unturned! Companies looking to increase sales, reduce dependence on the domestic market, and stabilize fluctuations should consider exporting. Come learn the kinds of tools you need in your toolbox to become a global competitor and find out what government programs are available to help. Presented by Georges Neuenschwander, NC SBTDC International Business Development Counselor.

This workshop will present an excellent opportunity for craft brewers considering expanding their customer base through hospitality related government contracting and exporting.  The event will help you determine if these strategies are a good fit for your business and direct you to individual assistance and in-depth workshops to ensure successful execution of the strategies.

This event is FREE to attend, but pre-registration is requested to guarantee seating.  For questions, please contact David McCrary at 828-327-6100 or
