The SBTDC publishes a tool for inventors called The
Intellectual Property Guide. The guide is
intended for the independent inventor or small company
with little knowledge of how to develop new ideas into
licensable patents or commercial products. The book
answers common questions and provides guidance on commercializing
an invention.
Networking/Resource identification
The SBTDC helps technology businesses identify and use
North Carolina's extensive network of technical and business
resources.
