Partnerships

To provide assistance in export financing, the SBTDC's International Business Development (IBD) program often partners with other export promotion groups that help with export marketing.  Export financing can be used as a tool to grow international sales and goes hand-in-hand with finding new international buyers.

IBD staff works closely with North Carolina-based US Department of Commerce trade specialists and with the NC Department of Commerce's International Trade Division.  See their websites at www.export.gov (for federal assistance) and www.exportnc.com (for state assistance). We partner via joint referrals and calls on clients. The US Small Business Administration (SBA) also provides export assistance services (see http://www.sba.gov/managing/marketing/intlsales.html)
