On June 2–3, 2010, over 600 health and science managers, entrepreneurs, small business executives, university researchers, and consulting organizations converged at the Raleigh Convention Center for the 12th Annual NIH National SBIR/STTR Conference. North Carolina was proud to host this event for the first time and we thank all in attendance for making the event a success.

Attendees learned the ins and outs of the NIH SBIR/STTR program, the funding opportunities available to small business researchers, and how the NIH SBIR/STTR program can be a valuable resource to help start and/or grow companies.

With nearly $690M available this year exclusively for small businesses to perform innovative research and R&D in the biomedical/behavioral sciences, we hope attendees are glad that they didn't miss this event!
