Businesses or sole proprietors which receive or have received SBA business disaster loans for physical damage and/or economic injury as a result of the hurricanes of 2004 are eligible to receive interest rebates on those loans. The rebates will be equal to the interest to be paid by the borrower for the first three years of the term of each disbursed SBA disaster loan to the borrower.

A simple application form, proof of North Carolina residency, and proof of loan disbursement are all that will be required. Applications will be forwarded to the SBTDC's offices in Raleigh for processing. All applications must be submitted by July 30, 2005.
